The best leaders I know slow down on purpose whenever it’s required. After 25 years in business, I’m convinced continuous acceleration is overrated. I prefer to work with people ready to explore, sit with discomfort, find out what depth looks like for them. You can’t do this at full speed. It’s like trying to have a real conversation while sprinting.
